And I'm not talking about the You-can-quit-you-day-job kind of money, or the host of scams. Legitimate ways to make money, or at least a few cents in pocket change, while doing something interesting or amusing. As long as you are going to waste time on the net ... 1. My favorite odd-to-downright-bizarre site is Amazon's Mechanical Turk : www.mturk.com/mturk/welcomeI go through the list of tasks in my spare time just to see what crazy stuff is there. So far I've got a whole 28 cents in my account, but if my pending payments come through soon, I should have .. oh, about $1.73. You can also take qualification tests that will get you higher paying tasks. 2. Boomertowne : www.boomertowne.com/Supposed to be for baby boomers, but anyone can join. You can build up points here quickly by just accepting friends and playing online games. The points convert to gift cards, or with enough, to prepaid Visa cards that can be used for anything. It really is easy to build up points, and they do pay out. Anyone else got a favorite?

I dont have any BUT Im gonna join boomer just to get stuff......seriously? Yup. I go over there for about 10 minutes in the morning. Accept all "friends" requests, answer the trivia quiz, the music lyrics quiz if there's a new one, and play some quick games. In a couple of months I have enough points for a $25 Visa card. How nutty is that?
