Island's Power Source

with all the power running through the island, where does the power source come from?

electric fense, dharma stations, othersville, LG, radiotower, etc


I originally thought about the natural electromagnetism around the Swan but that has been blown up and the power is still running....also, the Swan film mentioned the electromagnetism UNIQUE to that section of the island, not the whole island let alone the second island...

can it be all done with generators and gasoline? if so, where is the gas station.....

and how do you transport all the building materials and machinery/vehicles needed to construct all the stations, roads, fense, etc...def not by submarine.....I mean you need bulldozers, dump trucks, etc i betcha the Peace Corp helped construct
