I'm an episode or two behind (the last one I watched was with the crazy landmine guy), but the stuff with 'Smoking Doctor' and Dr. Sengupta makes me think that they have some time-travel stuff too, unless both doctors got 'snatched' also.
I think they're trying to figure out how they did the time-travel and that's why they were taking her grandfather's blood - he can time-travel without whatever they did to the prisoners and guards to make them disappear, and now they want him back so they can make their own time-travel device.

Last weeks episode "Clarence Montgomery" was rescheduled (March 12th) because of the 2012 Daytona 500 weather delay. Tonight's back to back episodes "The Ames Brothers" & "Sonny Burnett" are suppose to air after "Clarence Montgomery".
With Terra Nova being cancelled, Alcatraz might be next..

Hey Foxy - I want to talk theory!
I finally got caught up. so here is what I think.
Tommy has this funky blood - something is mixed in with it, but no one has said why or how so far. What ever it is, people with that blood heal faster and don't really get sick. hauser wants to find a convict with it so that he can use it to save Sangupta.
Okay - so about the blood - makes me think Tommy is alien - or part alien - or the vicitm of some weird experimentation he didn't know about. Because in the 60s, Ray seemed totally unaware of the blood thing. Makes me think that they may not really be blood brothers, and that Ray is still in the dark about the truth. Also makes me wonder if Tommywsa kinda set up to be in Alcatraz, just so whoever the powers may be could keep him under lock and key for as long as he proved useful.
And that may be why Tommy is staying so low - unlike all of his other convict counterparts. I mean, why is he the only one with self control? Not out on more killing sprees? Tommy is on the run, and I think the whole killing of Rebeccas partner was not the plan. Tommy is hiding from recapture?
And..Terra Nova was cancelled? Dammit - I liked that!

Tnhe time travel may have affected his bllod, but all the others don't seem to have the same effects.
Also....if this turns out to be aliens, then my whol The Island is a Spaceship theory from LOST days is gonna carry over to this show! Hah! mebbe those funny keys start the spaceship ignition, or sumthin'

I wasn't thinking aliens or zombies or any of that, but since Dr. Smokestack said something about the colloidal silver in the other 63's blood, my guess is that's something that Tommy had naturally and that's why they took so much blood from him; so they could do experiments with it. My further speculation is that they came up with some process to use that blood on others to give them the same benefits (resistance to disease, whatever), but however they snatched all the prisoners and guards affected the abductees and when they come back they're extra-crazy and all kill happy. I think that they snatched them by doing something using the gold that the Warden had stashed (since it was gone too), so they just abducted the whole prison because they couldn't just pick and choose. Time-traveling bunnies, except instead of bunnies, it's convicts and some guards. So that's all I have for theories right now. I didn't know that about Terra Nova either, bummer.

Okay, so mebbe I gotta get Netflicks.
Can you have colloidal silver naturally in your blood? I know you an use it to help with healing and you can take it, but does it stay? Can you produce it? I do not know, and I really don't feel like researching it.
All righty now....Dr. Smokestack admits to not knowing why the hell he was taking all of that blood back in 1960, but he suspects that the Warden was having something done with it or to it before the blood was reintroduced into the subject. Yeah, that we also pretty much figured out.
Nd - YOWZA YOWZA - Can we all say "Jacob Loves You " and who is in cell #23, because that last episode just reeked of JJ Abrams and Jack Bender, didn't it? Only on The Island watching the psychadelic video didn't make Karl all twitchy to kill his fellow Others or Losties.
And on a side note....I thought that they might have been using the prisoners for a variety of secret unethical experiments. Not surprised to hear that they even roped in some innocents to do so. So in this case, they created a killer. sad, really.
Does the She Doc also know the whole truth to what is going on, or do you think she is just ignorant about most of it?

I haven't watched the most recent episode yet, but I've been wondering what the deal is with Dr. Sengupta also, since she hasn't aged either.
It doesn't appear that she got snatched, nor does it seem that Dr. Smokestack was taken, but he's the same crusty, chain-smoking piece of dried out leather that he was in the 60s so I feel like they (Hauser's people) have some suspension method, or they figured out how to transport people through time too.

Well, it seems they were ALL transported through time, with the exception of Hauser, and the Vice Warden that was killed in the first episode. And Hauser asked Smokestack if he knew of "her methods" in the episode when hauser brought her to the Newcatraz facility underground.
And that is where I am perplzed thus far.....which side is she on? Is she evil or what? Does Hauser realize she is evil? Is he okay with it? Because obviously, he understands that she hasn't aged since the 60s.
I think I need to make a flo chart or something, just to track each character's situation, and what they know.

I mentioned the doctors because they seem to be the only 60s people on Hauser's team and it hasn't been addressed that they were frozen or transported or whatever.
I do like the show so far though.
